The Honorable Kevin Rudd takes over for Christiane Amanpour on CNN

Former Australian Prime minister, The Honorable Mr. Kevin Rudd took over a one-time special position as Australian CNN chief correspondent on international global affairs, hosted by Christiane Amanpour. With Rudd’s vast knowledge and experience on US-China relation through his tenure at Harvard and as President of the Asia Society Policy Institute in New York, it was befitting that Mr Rudd hosted the show, due to his ability to interview the Chinese Vice-Finance Minister Zhu Guangyao not only as a fluent Mandarin speaker but as an expert on the Chinese economy. During the interview, Rudd and Zhu spoke about the volatility of the stock market.
